The City invites bids from qualified architectural firms to provide complete consulting services for the design and implementation of the Mississauga Celebration Square Revitalization project, located at 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga ON. Through the process described in this RFP, the City will select a qualified architectural firm to act as the prime consultant, having total responsibility for all necessary sub-consulting services, including but not being limited to engineering disciplines, building envelope design, building code expertise, interior design, furniture selection, space planning, accessibility design, landscape design, cost estimating, to provide full consulting services to plan, coordinate, design, produce contract documents, implement and administer the construction contract for the redevelopment of the project. Bidders shall refer to Schedule B – Architect’s Services (in Appendix C) for details. The anticipated construction cost is approximately $35,000,000.00 (excl. net HST). The construction cost includes the cash allowance and contingency, and construction management fees, but excludes all soft costs such as permit fees, consulting fees, FF&E, HST etc. The construction will be implemented using the CCDC 5B – 2010 Construction Management Contract – for Services and Construction and includes the City’s Amendments.
